This Canada Day Weekend some friends and I were lucky enough to visit the Bluenose II docked at the Toronto Harbour for the Tall-ships Festival along with nine other vessels. These are some of the highlights.

Oshawa Creek Salmon Run

Today I went to The Oshawa Valley Botanical Gardens thinking about doing some flower photography. Once there however, I was greeted with the sight of a few dozen large Chinook Salmon braving the small rapids of the Oshawa Creek in order to spawn up stream.

Canoeing the Credit

This morning me and my Brother embarked on a trip up the Credit River. We paddled up from Port Credit up to the Mississauga Golf Course and back down again. In total we paddled about 8km or so. What a great way to start the long weekend Sunday.
